DAC's Financial Assistance Program

DAC receives government and arts agency grants which permit us to subsidize the costs of running our programs, allowing low-income families to participate in quality programs at a significantly reduced cost. DAC strives to provide as many children as possible with opportunities and access to professional arts programs. Priority is given to applicants who live in under-serviced areas in Toronto. The following is a list of under-serviced communities in which DAC has been focused: • St. Jamestown • Davenport-Perth • Regent Park • Weston-Mt. Dennis • Jane-Finch • Rexdale • Malve • Scarborough Village • Eglinton East/Kennedy Park • Lawrence Heights • Steeles-L’Amoreaux • Westminster-Branson • Flemindon Park-Victoria Village • Dorset Park • Jamestown • Kingston-Galloway • Crescent Town All families must contribute to a portion of the fees, monetarily and by volunteering. In most cases, we are able to offer upto a maximum of 75% DAC Financial Assistance. Each application is assessed individually and subsidies are granted based on available funding. To apply to DAC's financial assistance program, please download and complete the Financial Assistance form above and return to our office.
