Kick Audio is a step above the "project studio" norm, able to handle demos, large ensemble and orchestral sessions. The floor features a  Schimmel 7’ grand, a Hammond B3 and a Rhodes Stage piano. There are 30 mics from AKG, Neumann, Shure, AEA, Beyer and Audio-Technica, and a Furman headphone system. An iso booth and many baffles are available, and if needed, more isolation can be arranged. The upstairs control room has a 32 input/24 output Pro Tools HD3 Accel DAW, a 24 ch Yamaha DM2000 and 8ch TL Audio M1 tube consoles as well as preamps from Focusrite, Crookwood and BSS. The outboard gear from Avalon, dbx, BSS, Valley People, TC Electronic and Genelec 1032 speakers complete the set up.

Film

Drum Artz Studio is suitable for table top and medium sized productions. Our studio is clean and comfortable, with a full kitchen, first and second floor bathrooms, and a green room.

Rent Drum Artz Studio for your next event! The space can be arranged to suit a wide range of activities, including:     • Meetings and dinner events     • Exhibits, workshops and presentations     • Small concerts and live shows - up to 200 guests     • Special events: wedding showers, bachelor parties, etc.

Rehearsals

Drum Artz is located in a quiet neighbourhood ideal for uninterrupted rehearsals. We can accommodate large groups of over 50 people, or small bands and ensembles. The clean and comfortable environment has been ideal for full set-up rehearsals of large touring bands such as Nelly Furtado, Silver Chair, Canadian Idol, Manteca, Loreena McKennitt and others.
